The 8th International APN & ANP Congress of the DNAPN e.V. will focus on the topic: “Clinical Autonomy” – “Advocacy and safety aspects of the role as Advanced Practice Nurses take on responsibility”.
Registration only valid ONLINE until 30 August 2025! There are no on-site tickets.
Call for Abstract
We invite you to submit your abstracts on projects, research and study papers as well as your experience reports via our website by 30 May 2025.
Please indicate which sub-topic of the congress you are registering for:
- Topic 1: The structural conditions within organisations for an autonomous and responsible Advanced Nursing Practice
- Topic 2: Decision-making autonomy and responsibility in the various fields of practice (outpatient / inpatient and acute / non-acute) of Advanced Practice Nursing
- Topic 3: The role development of the Advanced Practice Nurse through the accepting accountability for the care provided
- Topic 4: Advanced Practice Nurses’ fulfilling their duty in initiating, implementing and conducting nursing research.
- Topic 5: Autonomy and taking responsibility of the APN in the context of interand intraprofessional collaboration
- Topic 6: Responsibility and autonomy for APNs in a context of tasks sharing with other professionals and managing the nursing process

In order for your contribution to be accepted and included in the congress proceedings without major additional effort, we ask you to observe the following abstract rules. These rules and further information can be found here.

Please indicate which type of presentation you prefer:
- Oral presentation (20 minutes presentation plus 5 minutes discussion)
- Poster presentation (5 minutes plus 2 minutes of follow-up questions)
- Workshop (60 or 90 minutes, please ask for the separate guidelines at kontakt@dnapn.de)
We reserve the right to decide on the final allocation to the sub-topic and the type of presentation.
APN Phenomenon Award 2025
Advanced Practice Nursing focuses on the needs and requirements of patients in a scientifically sound manner, offers healthcare at a high professional level, takes innovative paths in the development of nursing practice and defines standards in the quality of nursing care.
The health care of the population deserves attention and recognition!
The German Network Advanced Practice Nursing & Advanced Nursing Practice g.e.V. awards the APN Phenomenon Award 2025 for particularly outstanding achievements in the development, implementation and evaluation of ANP concepts.
The prize is for two awards each 500 euros.
The DNAPN & ANP e.V. cordially invite you to submit your (extended) abstracts for the Phenomenon Award 2025 by May 30, 2025.
The scientific advisory board will select the two submissions whose authors will be honored with the ANP Award 2025. The winners are expected to present their project to the professional public at the 8th International APN & ANP Congress in Hanover in the form of a lecture (20 min. and 5 min. discussion). The winners will be announced on the 2nd day of the congress. The submissions of the winners will be published in the 2025 congress proceedings.
